Day 1

STOP 1: Barley & Burger

This small, crowded restaurant is a local favorite. It combines the nostalgia of great movies with some new and unexpected burger combinations. Try the Godfather (fried mozzarella, marinara, pepperoni and fresh basil) or the Marty McFly (american cheese, chili, slaw and mustard) with a side of gourmet tater tots. Then, faster than you can reach 77 miles per hour in your modified Delorean, your food will arrive.

STOP 2: Tar River Flea Market

Who says shopping is not a workout? The Tar River Flea Market spans over 15 acres and offers spaces for more than 200 vendors. That includes outdoor shopping as well as over 41,500 sq.ft. of indoor shopping. Great finds can be found everywhere. Antique signs, furniture and clocks vie for attention. Toys and collectibles take you back to your childhood. You’ll even find a larger selection of clothes, fine jewelry and more. You just need the ability to bargain and a sharp eye to spot treasure.

STOP 3: Flying Iron Harley Davidson

Flying Iron USA Dealer Harley-Davidson is the largest dealer in the Rocky Mount area. They have a strong and committed sales staff with many years of experience to get you rocking and rolling on a Harley. Their inventory of new and pre-owned motorcycles is second to none, and when you feel the wind in your hair and the sound of that engine, you won't second guess that you made the right decision.

STOP 4: Big Rock Powersports

Don't settle for just sitting at home all day, head to Big Rock Powersports and get your game face on. ATVs, Slingshots, Street Bikes, Dirt Bikes, 4x4, and more all await you. Take on an adrenaline-pumping adventure on the water or on the land and remind yourself what it means to truly be alive.

STOP 5: Koi Pond

Koi Pond features an ever-changing variety of unfiltered ales made with local ingredients. This includes pale ales and IPAs, stouts and Belgian beers, Saisons and more. Try an angry Squirrel. Toss back a Bozo Brown. Or grab a flight and settle in for some trivia and local music. Snacks are for sale. But locals and visitors alike simply bring in food from the fabulous local restaurants next door at Rocky Mount Mills.

STOP 6: Hop Fly

Life can be stressful and Hop Fly knows that when you need to unwind, all you want is a nice cold one. But with all the choices out there, you are left bewildered and frustrated. That is the exact opposite of what you need. You need a consistent, quality beer that you can drink now without a hassle. Thankfully, Hop Fly is here, brewing quality fresh beer, every day in Rocky Mount.

STOP 7: Tipsy Tomato

The Tipsy Tomato is the perfect example of the food you want, precisely where you want it.
